Human behavior is one of a kind…we never ever want anyone to direct us, yet we love to direct others…and we declare ourselves to be proud critics!
HOW TO INCULCATE A BETTER CHANGE THEN?

There are only two ways to modify anyone else conduct. Either appreciate for good work or give punishment for anything that goes wrong.
The studies have shown appreciation is far more welcoming and helps an individual to shift gears. It builds more trust and the admiration drives him/her to perform the right thing right again…
SEASONING AT WORKSHOP
Lately I attended two days workshop at a renowned medical school; towards the end of it there was a valedictory function followed by cultural’s.
The workshop was obviously great and all of us were admiring the Head of the Department (HOD) for wonderful arrangements. But the best part of event was,the acknowledgement that HOD gave to every working hand. She called upon the stage every person and admired the work done and thanked personally…the stage lit up with happy faces…all of them were delighted.
It was indeed a appealing gesture from her side; a little bit of genuine appreciation would drive the working hands work even harder subsequently. That’s the power of recognition.

CONVENTIONAL CRITICISM..
We can appreciate this on our day to day basis. We often fail to acknowledge our mothers/fathers/ wives/ husbands everyday when they go an extra mile for us but without fail we do mention if someday there is any extra salt in the food or they forget to do something we had asked!

When we don’t appreciate them for eight out of ten things probably they did extra for us; do we have any right to be critic for those two things where they lag behind?…

THE POWER OF WORDS…
Words have the power; they can motivate us or break us! There is always a better way out to convey in a very supportive manner so that the person doesn’t feel left out.

When a gardener plants a flower and it doesn’t blooms; he doesn’t condemn the flower instead he adds more nutrients to the soil, water it daily, makes sure that the plant gets adequate light. When we can be so thoughtful towards plants why cant we be towards our fellow humans…
In love we nurture! Be a nurturer!
